Having successfully rolled out AMS Fleet Manager to the fleet of 40 vehicles, attention soon diverted to their ever growing fleet of welfare buildings known as the “Evolution” range. Being one of the largest portable buildings companies in the UK, Elliott have always been keen to embrace new technology to enhance and protect their market share, however this complex environment had already proved too challenging for other providers to produce a reliable system. Mandatory information such as location and security was soon to be proved less important than other factors. Elliott needed visibility and control of the ancillary items in the buildings ie generators, waste and water tanks. The system would need easy to use alerting mechanisms plus a comprehensive but user friendly reporting suite. Most importantly, the system needed to withstand harsh and remote environments without loss of service. Key Business BenefitsSince implementation the system has constantly evolved and now provides the following key benefits;
What the future holdsAMS will continue to develop the entire Site Manager range to provide diverse applications for emerging markets. As the devices become smaller, more portable and of course more cost effective, all buildings will soon benefit from this technology. |
